Workshop Overview

We are all familiar with the conventional HR metrics that are frequently used in organizations today – Turnover rate, KPI, ROI etc. However, all these emphasize mainly on reporting trends and at the most, on alerting a shift in pattern. The limitation is that they focus on finding the solutions to the problems faced yesterday or today. Therefore, it is of utmost importance for organizations to start making the shift from HR Metrics to Analytics. HR Analytics includes statistics and research design like metrics, but it goes beyond. They include identifying meaningful questions, gathering appropriate data from within and finally analyzing them, thus directing towards a proactive step for tomorrow.

This 2-day workshop highlights the relationship between HR Analytics, business, workforce and HR strategy. Analytic techniques and tools in gathering data will be covered. Participants shall then learn to identify the root causes of workforce issues. Together with the data collected, techniques for analyzing them will be illustrated. In addition, Good vs. Important vs. Critical Metrics will be evaluated. Finally, an advanced analysis toolkit, obstacles that resulted in failure and best practices in HR Analytics shall be introduced.
The learning will be accentuated through discussion and real-life case studies. Delegates can immediately apply the knowledge gained from the workshop to quantify future decision-making and examine the strategic impact that HR Analytics can have on any organization's human capital decisions.
