A recognised expert among his peers, the trainer is a highly experienced consultant with almost 20 years of experience with capital markets dealings particularly on liquidity management for various banks in Australia. The trainer also has extensive expertise in debt markets, swap markets management of complex public hybrid transactions. Additionally, he also was involved in managing relationships with ratings agencies and regulators on liquidity.

Prior to Joining Risk Consultants Australia Pty Limited, he has managed and been directly responsible for the funding of St. George’s Bank through many economic cycles, from the Asian crisis to the recent global financial crisis. He was responsible for upgrading the company’s credit rating in 2007, following an extensive preparation including peer analysis and other qualitative assessments. He was also responsible for introducing new reporting procedures as well as improving treasury operations with the introduction of FX dealings.

Besides that, he is a licensed and accredited financial markets dealer, a responsible officer for an Australian Financial Services Licensee, a member of CISA and an Australian Chartered Accountant. He was also a director of AUSTRACLEAR where he was heavily involved in extensive dealings and provided risk management expertise.
