This trainer has over twenty years of experiences in the field of process control and instrumentation, particularly Distributed Control System (DCS). Currently working at Kuwait Oil Company, he has proven international track record in providing process control and automation.
As a renowned International Consultant, he provides practical hands-on courses and consultancy on Distributed Control System (DCS), SCADA, and Control & Instrumentation (C&I). He has also played great roles in various developments of Enterprise Architecture, related with Control systems, MIS (Management Information Systems).
His areas of expertise include evaluation of the DCS, SCADA, Field Instrumentation and associated business systems to ensure all hardware and software components achieve their optimum architecture. He also proposed innovative solutions to increase reconciled data flow availability, quality by optimizing Control to Enterprise architecture and components utilization.
His experiences are widely extended across different industries, ranging from oil and gas, power stations, heavy manufacturing, as well as desalination plants. He participated in various meetings with engineering PMC (Fluor, AMEC, Worley Parsons) and various contractors during project cycle, including FEED, FAT, SAT, PAT. He has handled projects involve gas, condensate, oil pipelines, Gathering Centre, and Booster stations. His scope of work typically deal with 200- 600 RTU’s, 10 DCS (different vendors), multiple communication media and protocols, advanced applications such as PLDS, MIS, Optimization, and Asset Management.
All in all, the trainer has grown from field engineer to managerial roles, providing consultancy to various clients and vendors. Continuous advancement in Control & Instrumentation, DCS, SCADA, wireless, coupled with utilization of modern project management and execution approaches, he seeks to provide exceptional consultancy in the area of automation which is in line with the latest international industrial standards and practices.
This trainer is also a senior member of IEEE and ISA, international organizations for electrical engineers who work in the field of automation and instrumentation as well as control of industrial processes. He has been a regular and prominent speaker in international conferences with regards to automation and control systems. Some of these prestigious events include “Power-Gen Middle East 2006” (UAE) exhibition by Power Engineering International, Honeywell EPKS C210 Operations, Management and Engineering Course, and World Engineering Congress 2008 – Electrical Engineering & Maintenance.
His wide experiences have given him opportunities to work in a multi-cultural environment and within cross-functional teams.
