Workshop Overview

A fool-proof safety program will never be successful without having employees’ involvement and changing their mindset. Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) analyzes the interactions between people's behavior and the working environment to identify those factors that support safe or unsafe behavior. By changing the environment to support safe behavior and implementing proven behavioral safety processes in your company, BBS aims to dramatically reduce the number of lost-time and injuries.

The 3-day workshop is specially designed for safety professionals who have an existing knowledge of BBS and it places a much stronger focus on human factors and process safety issues. The result shall be a much wider response than behavioral observation process.

Led by our course facilitator, a highly experienced psychologist who has wide experience of consulting in BBS implementation in Europe, Asia and Africa, in sectors such as Oil & Gas, energy, manufacturing etc, the workshop will include a blend of theory and practice, emphasizing on applying behavioral science. The delegates will leave the workshop with a changed mindset, as well as a set of practical tools to apply immediately in their daily work.
