The trainer is an international finance consultant and trainer, focussing on financing of private enterprises. His services include investment and business planning, financial analysis and ‘due diligence’, loan appraisal, and development and evaluation of SME and rural finance programmes.

Following a participatory approach, he enables entrepreneurs to formulate their business plans. He works with bankers to assess the creditworthiness of their clients. He advises governments on private sector financing. He is training entrepreneurs, consultants and bankers in investment, loan and risk analysis. His services also include rural finance, micro-lending, SME financing and development, and project evaluation following PCM methods. In the Netherlands, he regularly takes part in a credit committee, evaluating requests for loan guarantees.

Over the course of his career, he has worked with major corporations, shared his expertise with small and medium firms, banks, as well non-government organizations all over Europe, Asia and Africa. He trained and consulted over 100 SMEs and bankers in lending methodologies as well as a consultant in finance, economics as well as business research and analysis.
