Workshop Overview

Strategic Workforce Planning is the business process for ensuring that an organization has suitable access to talent to ensure future business success. Planning for human resource needs is one of the greatest challenges facing managers and leaders. A consistent process that provides a disciplined approach for matching human resources with the anticipated needs of the company is essential.

In this 2-day workshop, the delegates shall learn how Workforce Planning serves as a planning tool and a basis for justifying budget allocation and workload staffing levels. The delegates will first build a business case for workforce planning and understand its importance as a key management activity. With various real world case studies from leading international organization, the delegates will know how to forecast the workforce demand and supply at both the enterprise and job family level. Using the workforce planning tools, the total cost of the workforce and its impact on total costs and organization profits can be projected. Quantifiable cost savings and productivity improvement opportunities showing a clear financial return on investment for (ROI) can be achieved too. Last but not least, the delegates will be able to develop and implement an actual workforce plan using sample data with step-by-step exercises which cover all key aspects of workforce planning.
