The leading speaker heads the International Finance Group of Watson, Farley & Williams (Singapore). He is a leading lawyer in the Asia Pacific Legal 500 and Chambers Global, described as “highly experienced and knowledgeable on all matters relating to Shipping Finance” by Chamber Asia 2009 with more than 20 years of experience in asset, project, trade and structured finance and acted for ship financiers such as Citibank, DVB bank, ING bank, BTMU Capital Corporation, Standard Chartered, Fortis bank etc.

  • She is an associate in the international litigation group of Watson, Farley & Williams (Singapore). She has acted for a number of mortgagee banks in the enforcement of ship mortgages, including coordinating the arrest and auction of vessels. The jurisdictions in which she has ship arrest experience include Russia, Singapore, Ghana, Korea, India and China.

  • She is a partner in the firm’s international finance group. She specializes in asset, project and structured finance and oil and gas work and has acted for most of the leading banks and financial institutions and is recognized as possessing “mastery of the subject” of asset finance by the Asia Pacific Legal 500. She has worked in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore and has considerable experience in Korean, Hong Kong and PRC finance transactions
