Workshop - Africa/Middle East Print E-mail
orginal

Workshop Overview:

Production logs are playing an increasing role in modern reservoir management as they are the only means of identifying downhole fluid movements directly. This course gives a comprehensive look at all the elements of Production Log Interpretation for today’s Oil and Gas professionals, right from the wellsite to the completed integrated interpretation report. In addition, the course covers the thorough working principles of PL sensors, both conventional and exotic, and their roles in PL Interpretation and the challenges of multiphase analysis in today’s deviated and horizontal environments. Delegates can benefit from an all-rounded knowledge of both reservoir properties and PL interpretation.

This three days course discusses concepts, coupled with a class project, extensive exercises and case studies. Delegates are encouraged to bring along their own PL data sets for group discussion purposes. It shall definitely be a rewarding and enriching course in which delegates can immediately apply the knowledge gained from the workshop to improve your production logging interpretation and analysis.

Workshop Facilitator Profile

The expert has 30 years worldwide experience as a logging engineer, planning, running and interpreting Production Logs with petroleum engineering objectives. He is currently working with a Petroleum E&P Training & Consultancy firm in PL design, interpretation and training development. The course facilitator is an expert in practical production log acquisition and interpretation, having performed over 1600 production log interpretations in all environments, including injectors, horizontals and multiphase wells, for clients from Europe, South East Asia and the Americas.
