Workshop Facilitator Profile

An accomplished communications executive with 25 years of global experience, our course facilitator is Managing Director of a facilitation consultancy specialising in communications skills. In his career, he has been on all sides of the industry. As a trained facilitator, the numbers speak for themselves:  35,000 hours facilitating 6,000 workshops for 10,000 participants in 19 countries on 4 continents.  He’s also spoken at industry conferences in Australia, Canada, China, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.

During the past 15 years, he has focused on corporate learning initiatives, executive communications workshops and mentoring programs for clients such as Aberdeen Asset Management, ANZ, Astra-Zeneca, BT Financial, Colgate, Ford Motor Company, GlaxoSmithKline, HP, Henkel, LG, Microsoft, Novartis, Philip Morris, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Roche, SAP, Samsung, Singapore Tourism Board, Unilever, and Zurich Financial Services.  He’s developed and facilitated individualised programs in management consulting, strategic planning, creative thinking and innovation, negotiation skills, sales presentation selling, and customer service.

He writes a blog on creativity, strategy and communications, and has been part of teams winning more than 40 communications industry awards in six countries. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communications with a minor in Graphic Design, and a Certificate IV in Adult Training and Assessment from University of Technology Sydney (UTS). His facilitation, training and coaching is supported by accreditations in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and Team Management Systems®, as well as Learning Styles Indicator and Communications Style Flexing.  He’s a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia, the International Association of Business Communicators, and the Creative Skills Leadership Council.
