Workshop Facilitator Profile

The workshop facilitator is a Director and Owner of a risk consulting firm, an Australian business continuity and crisis management consulting services company based in Sydney. He has 15 years experience providing risk consulting services to organisations in Europe, Asia and Australia, including 6 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. His specific expertise is in the delivery of business continuity, crisis management and scenario planning exercise services.

He has applied his practical experience to assist clients to design and implement business continuity and crisis management frameworks, create and review plans and prepare and deliver business continuity training at all management levels. He has also carried out regulatory risk reviews and developed detailed contingency plans in response to specific continuity threats such as Avian Influenza, the Millennium Bug and major business and IT relocations. He has developed and delivered over 100 scenario planning and simulation exercises with clients across Asia and Australia involving a diverse range of crisis scenarios and teams of up to 50 participants.

He has an MBA from Imperial College, London University and a Bachelor of Arts from Oxford Brookes University. He is a Member of the Business Continuity Institute and Leader of the New South Wales BCI Forum. He is a regular business continuity and crisis management trainer and frequent contributor of original articles on business continuity for local and international publications and web sites.
