Facilitator Profile

The trainer is the co-founder of an Idaho-based brand management consultancy firm - and the developer of the “1000 Year Brand” model. He consults and speaks on branding and marketing trends; especially trends related to communicating with Gen Y. Working with his client’s management team, he develops an organisation’s brand core, identity, and interaction that become the foundation for effective marketing strategies that connect and communicate their brand with their audience. His understandings of the generational and technology shifts that are permanently changing marketing give his clients a fresh perspective and multidimensional approach to branding.

The trainer has nearly 20 years of marketing and sales experience in a broad variety of industries including retail, technology, transportation, and consulting. His extensive B2B sales experience honed his ability to communicate value, distill complexity down to simple ideas, and to develop relationships. Prior to starting his brand management consultancy firm, the trainer was the co-founder of a word-of-mouth agency in Boise, Idaho.

He also teaches organisations how to apply Web 2.0, new media, and social networking as communication tools and to accelerate word-of-mouth. He is a noted blogger and public speaker, and also works with high schools and universities to educate students on marketing and branding trends. He is actively involved in Optimist Youth Football and several other organizations. In addition to his consulting and speaking efforts, he is a husband, dad, and football coach.
